With FLEX version 4.0.0.0, you gain access to an exclusive service at no charge: MAGIC Lock. This feature prevents unauthorized access to ECU files, ensuring your tuning solutions remain secure. Now, with the updated MAGIC Lock, you can disable the password reading function in bench and boot modes for MEDC17, Simos 12, and Simos 18. Protect your business from unwanted copying!

Restoration of the ECU is solely possible by those who possess the unique password created during the patch setup. Remember, only users with a FLEX device can restore access.

While MAGIC LOCK remains active, access to Bench mode will be completely restricted, and any attempts will be futile. Content can only be read in boot mode by the original patch user, provided they have the personal password. Standard writing via OBD remains unchanged.
