Description
Fundamentals, Petrol, and Diesel Tuning for Mechanics & Emerging Tuners
Join us for this immersive three-day training experience, designed for mechanics, workshop technicians, and emerging tuners who want to build real-world skills in ECU and TCU programming using the industry-leading Flex and StageX platforms.
Delivered by the experienced team at Zuce Tech, this comprehensive course begins with the core fundamentals of ECU/TCU architecture, file structure, tuning workflows, and tool safety. You’ll get hands-on with Flex hardware and learn how to confidently use OBD, Bench, and Boot connection methods, submit tuning requests, and navigate the Magic Motorsport Australia file portal.
From there, we dive into two full days of focused petrol and diesel tuning, exploring control strategies for modern naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines, followed by a detailed look at common-rail turbo diesel platforms used across 4WDs and utility vehicles in Australia.
Each day includes guided map editing, live demonstrations, and practical tuning of real-world files. By the end of the masterclass, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to begin building your own tuning database, reuse proven solutions, and deliver safe, effective results in your workshop.
Key Learning Outcomes
ECU & TCU fundamentals: architecture, file types, and safe tuning workflow
